Snickerdoodles

I haven't had snickerdoodles in quite a while so I can't say if this recipe that I found online is better then the recipe I got from my mom BUT...this is a good recipe none the less. I was able to get 24 cookies out of this recipe.

CrockPot Teriyaki Chicken

Holy easy and delicious!! Sam had been requesting that I make chicken teriyaki rice bowls for a little while now and I finally broke down and found a good recipe. Thank you Pinterest! All you do is put pretty much everything in the crockpot, set it, and....forget it. :)
Crockpot recipes are my favorite because cooking it all day in the juices really gets that flavor deep into your meat. AND you don't have to rush right before dinner to get a whole bunch of things done.

Chicken With Sundried Tomato Basil Cream Sauce

I love it when Sam ends a meal by saying that what I had made tasted just as good if not better then food he would order at a restaurant. This meal happened to be one of those times. The meal really isn't that hard to make and has so much flavor in it.
If you are looking for a recipe that looks super complicated and that will make you look like you are a master chef, this is one of them. Give this a try next time you are trying to impress somebody special.

Creamy Pesto Sauce

This is a great pesto sauce. Of course I found this lovely recipe on Pinterest, which has now become my go to source for finding recipes. I needed to find a homemade pesto sauce recipe for a couple of reasons...1- My brother said that it would be the best sauce to go with these fantastic Chicken Sausage and Kale Ravioli's that I got at Costco..and 2- I have an abundance of basil growing in my herb garden and it was getting a little tall and needed some thinning. Enjoy!

Teriyaki Salmon with Hot sauce

I came across this recipe while on Pinterest the other day and it looked amazing. I know I already have a lot of Salmon recipes but can you really have to many? I think not. The homemade teriyaki sauce is fantastic in itself, but add in the hot sauce you put on the top and it takes the Salmon to a whole new level. The sauce reminds me of the Sumo Sauce at the Happy Sumo, or the spicy sauce they put on top of some sushi.
This is one of my favorite ways to prepare salmon because I love the flavor combinations.

Beef and Broccoli over Rice

I always seem to have a lot of broccoli sitting in my fridge so I was trying to think of something other then roasted broccoli. For some reason I couldn't get Panda Express out of my head. So thus....Beef and Broccoli. This recipe was actually pretty darn simple. It was ready in under 30 minutes, which in my book is pretty good. Enjoy.

Super Yummy Grilled Shrimp

Oh...my...goodness! I love shrimp. I love the grill. So why not grill shrimp?! Yes please!!! This recipe is so stinking good. Perfect for summer when its hot and you don't want to heat up your kitchen. These shrimp would be good in a taco or on a salad...we had them just how they were though.
The marinade on these shrimp is so amazing. I bet it would be good on chicken as well.
If you love shrimp as much as I do then you will absolutely love this recipe.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

With it being so hot and having mad soup the night before which heated up the entire apartment for hours I decided to find some new grilling recipes. I came across this one also on allrecipes and I must say it was DELISH and not to mention super easy. Those my friends are two things that make up my kind of dinner. Pair this with a few nice veggies and bam...no stove use from me and no hot...kinda...apartment! I must say there are a couple of the ingredients that I would have never thought to put on chicken or to baste with but it turned out fantastic!

Strawberry Shortcake...cake :)

I came across this recipe via Pinterest and it looked REALLY amazing. So I decided to give it a try for our anniversary this year. It was absoultely fantastic although there are things I would change for next time based on the fact that there were only 2 of us eating it. But here is the original recipe. The icing on this cake is so stinking amazing.

Italian Burgers

Who doesn't love a good old fashioned Italian burger?! I'm pretty sure I make mine just like most people but this is the way I personally like to have them.
I like to switch up having plain old burgers sometimes so this is how I usually do it. We eat a lot of hamburgers in our home so I have to find different ways of loading up that bun to make it different every time.

Turkey Panini

This is a Zupa's inspired sandwhich. I have no idea why we think we can't make delish sandwhiches at home. All you need....GOOD QUALITY BREAD!!!
(This picture is what the one at Zupas looks like, since I sooo do not have a photo taking ability in my body)
Now to make this a diet approved meal obviously you need to change it from a sandwich to a wrap. See my corrections below in my notes.

Roasted Broccoli & Other Veggies

This has become one of our favorite side dishes. I grew up only having vegetables cooked on the stove, covered in water...and what I never knew was that you get soooo much more flavor when you roast your veggies.
Down below in my side notes are other vegetable ideas that are fantastic roasted. There is just something about roasting vegetables that makes them a lot more enjoyable to eat. I have had multiple people tell me that they don't like vegetables, and then I would roast some for them and cook them right (not overcooking them) and I have been able to change a few minds.

Baked Shrimp Scampi

I must admit that I REALLY liked this recipe. I made this as a freezer meal. It does take a little bit of time to make, but once you have it in the freezer, it thaws out AMAZINGLY well and all you have to do is bake it.
Who wouldn't like a fancy 5 star recipe pulled right out of the freezer?
