I remember when I was a kid, every time I would go to the mall I would want to stop in the food court to get one of these. I also remember the day they took it out of the food court and filled in the area with another clothes store...it was a sad day for many.
Can you really have to many casserole recipes? I don't think so. This one includes most things that people will have at home. Yes I know my picture is very unappetizing to look at but really its an all in one casserole. It has the Italian spices of a spaghetti sauce and the bread right on with it.
In my opinion you can never have to many steak marinades. This is usually my go to marinade though. The vinegar helps to break down the steak making it more tender.

I can't believe that in my many rantings and ravings about me missing and loving my precious El Pollo Loco that I forgot to post the very very delicious recipe I found online for their creamy cilantro dressing. I'll tell you what...I could order their little itty bitty Loco Salads every single day (I feel like I'm repeating myself from a previous post?)and never EVER get tired of it. Anyway, this recipe isn't EXACT, its just one of those copycat recipes but its pretty close.
If anybody does happen to have the EXACT recipe they use and want to share it with me....I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER!
These potatoes are famous in the LDS world. It seems like you can't go to a Christmas party, funeral, enrichment, nothing without seeing these wonderful bits of goodness on the table.

So Ive always wanted to do an April Fools Day gag that involved disguising all the foods and making them look like something else. I first saw some ideas and ripped them out of a magazine article and then I thought hmmm I should search around a find a few more and share them with all of you guys. (yes all 2 of you that read my blog faithfully lol). Anyway, enjoy and have fun. Maybe one of these years I will get around to actually making some of these. They are pretty darn cute if I say so!
Avacado Salsa. Mmm just thinking about it is making me want to drive a few hours to go pick up one of those Loco Salads. You know what, I think I could eat a Loco Salad, some Taco Al Carbones, the Avacado Salsa, and their Churros...every day and never EVER get sick of it. Im really hoping to get me some of this yummy deliciousness while we are in California in a few weeks. Until then I had to make due and put together something similar. So the chicken, sad to say, is not flame grilled (mmm my mouth is starting to drool), but its still good. A brother in law of mine gave me a couple of ideas on how to cook the chicken to get in some awesome flavor.
