BBQ Shredded Chicken Sandwich

This is a super easy recipe. Some of the ingredients are a little weird for a typical BBQ, but I'll tell you what....THEY WORK! Shred the chicken and put on sandwiches, serve it over a salad, or leave it whole! It's good no matter how you eat it. Just get it in your belly!!!
I have made this recipe many times for family and friends whenever they have stayed with us, and every time I have been asked for the recipe. The best part about it is that it's made in the slow cooker, so you don't have to spend a lot of time at dinner getting it ready. I like to pair my meat up with my favorite Sweet Coleslaw recipe. Enjoy!

6  boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (12 ounce) bottle bbq sauce
1/2 cup Zesty Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp liquid smoke (I prefer Hickory)

1.Place chicken in a slow cooker.
2. In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, Italian salad dressing, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke and pour over the chicken.
3.Cover, and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.
4. About 15 minutes before ready to eat, shred meat and place back in slow cooker to soak up a little more flavor.
5. When serving use either a slotted spoon or tongs to get meat and shake of excess liquid (unless you want a soggy bun).
6. Serve on bun with extra bbq sauce and/or my favorite Sweet Coleslaw!

**Randi's Side Notes**
~ For gluten free you could serve this a few different ways. You could use your favorite gluten free bread, you could serve it on nothing and just not shred it, or you could make a nice bbq salad with some peppers, black beans, and corn.
