Chex Muddy Buddies
Super Easy. Super Fast. Super Yummy.
These just bring me back to my teenage days. I used to make these all the time for a late night snack.
9 cups chex cereal (any kind)
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1- Into a large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
2- In a saucepan, heat chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter over low heat, stirring frequently until melted. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour choclate mixture over cereal in bowl, stirring until evenly coated.
3- Pour into a large bag and add powdered sugare, shake till fully covered. Spread over wax paper to cool
*Store in airtight container in fridge.
**Randi's Side Notes**
~ I haven't made these in forever until today and I had forgotten how awesome they are. This is a great go-to goodie.
~ I use milk chocolate chips instead though, mainly because I just don't like the taste of the semi-sweet.
