Savory Zucchini Sticks


This is just a little veggie side dish recipe. I SOMETIMES jazz up my veggies just so that i don't eat the same old peas, corn, beans...blah blah :)


3 TBSP seasoned dry bread crumbs
2 TBSP grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg white
1 teaspoon milk
2 small zucchini, cut lengthwise into quarters
1/3 cup spaghetti sauce, warmed (optional of course)

1- Preheat oven to 400. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.
2- Combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in shallow dish. Combine egg white and milk in another shallow dish; beat with fork until well blended.
3- Dip each zucchini wedge first into crumb mixture then into egg mixture then back again in the crumb mixture.
4- Place zucchini quarters on prepared baking sheet; coat well with cooking spray to crisp it up. Bake 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with spaghetti sauce

**Randi's Side Notes**
~First of all I don't just use egg whites because I prefere the less healthy way and more flavor way :)
~I also drizzle melted butter over the top instead of using cooking spray just for more fat and taste lol
